Summer Gala Events
Come along and enjoy a day out on the Strathspey Railway at our Summer Steam and Diesel Gala!
The gala will feature all available home fleet locomotives.
27050, 31327, 37674, 5025, 46464, and 46512.
Shunters 08490 and North British D2774 will haul the penultimate train from Boat to Aviemore each day.
The DMU will run four trips from Broomhill to Dulnain bridge each day.
Steam locomotive-hauled brake van trips between Aviemore and Boat each day.
Ruston 48DS Queen Anne will be giving cab visits / rides along platform 3 at Boat.
Visits to the original 1898 built engine shed (60B) will be available at Aviemore.
08490 will operate driver for a fiver trip at Boat each day.
1, 2 and 3 day rover tickets are available to purchase in advance (Rover tickets enable you to have as many trips as you like through the day).
